Opening Day is just around the corner and many teams, like the Texas Rangers, are looking forward to an increase in ticket sales and sponsorships. David Simmons, from www.bizofbaseball.com , is doing a review of many MLB teams and their sales projections for the upcoming season. I especially like his take on the Texas Rangers and the strategy of new ownership to offer the different ticket plans that the Rangers are offering, including mini-plans that include opening day.
The SF Giants are also looking forward to in increase after their World Series run and Simmons does a good job of listing past teams tickets sales increase after appearing in the Fall Classic.
