U Think The NFL Labor Problem R Ugly? The NBA May Get Uglier!

We all know that the NFL labor war is getting ugly but at least we know that these extended deadlines give us hope that this will all soon figure itself out.  We understand that the owners as these school yard bullies who feel they should be paid more for letting you eat your lunch in peace.  Now the good thing is that the owners and players realize that $9 billion is alot of money to miss out on but the NBA is in a different boat.  Forbes sports business writer Tom Van Riper wrote an interesting take on the upcoming labor fight in the NBA.
See, NBA owners actually DO lose money and the player DO receive the majority of the revenue.  Also, player salaries are guaranteed in the NBA.  That means that no matter if a team is in a small market or large market, they have to pay!  They also have that luxery tax thing going that only increase expenses and cost.  It is widely understand that only about six teams in the NBA turn a profit (both LA teams) and teams lin Memphis and New Orleans are on the verge of being booted out!
I can only pray for the Sales staff because its about to get ugly!
