NBA Pacers Increase Ticket Prices...For a Change!

The Indiana Pacers is really an interesting franchise to evaluate when you think about its history and traditions and Larry Bird and other stuff that make Indiana an interesting franchise to evalutate.  But whats interesting to note is that they actually made the playoffs and still had the lowest attendance in the league.  Now if Indiana wasnt considered a basketball town or if they didnt have a connection with his fans then ok but Reggie Miller will testify that The Pacers Fannation is one to be reckon with.  So why rock bottom in ticket sales?  Thats for another day.

Today, they are simply raising ticket prices for the first time in five years and I really cant blame them because the economy is not slowing down for the Pacer fans to catch up.  Like alot of NBA teams, this is the time for sending out renewals and collecting deposits for priority seating for next season.  So many season ticket holders actually will not experience an increase but I still give the franchise credit for just now waiting to increase their prices.  Resigning Larry Bird as head man in charge should also help with ticket sales.  Now all they need is a marquee player and they may just sell out some of these games.
