Still The Sacramento Kings...For Now!

I guess the Maloofs brothers have decided to take the road of less resistance.  They have decided to keep their NBA Sacramento Kings in the city of Sacramamento instead of moving them to Anaheim down the street.  If only for the 2011-2012 season (if there is a season based on the NBA's labor dispute with its players), this should at least give Mayor and NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Johnson enough time to try and settle the stadium issues with the brothers.

This is all rather crazy for the sales staff for this team.  Its tough to try and renew season tickets sales for the next season when you know the team is trying to move.  Its also makes it even tougher when the team sucks and playoffs are a pipedream!  Sacramento is one of those teams that Commissioner David Stern mentions that loses money and they are always one of the teams at the bottem in attendance.  It makes it the climate almost impossible for corporate sales to make money when the community is split on the team leaving.  How many businesses want to be associated with a team in lame duck status.  Plus their losing in a small market.
Not a good combo!

I want to say good luck to the sales staff because you are going to need it for your last season in Sacramento!
